Margaret P. Nolfi, was born 1930 in Stowe Township, a suburb of Pittsburgh.
Peggy, as her friends knew her, was an exemplary student, editor of her school newspaper and a member of the Quill and Scroll society.
She is described by her childhood friends as always being "a delightfully pleasant companion".
In her early twenties, Mitzi (as her father called her) worked as an administrative assistant for the local natural gas utility. This is
where she began developing the vital organzational skills that she contributed to the birth of Studio TEN.
One day, during her walk home from work, Mitzi was offered a ride home from a young gentleman. She declined, but that didn't discourage him.
Tom Nolfi continued offering that ride home every day until she finally accepted. In 1952 Tom took Mitzi as his bride and they began a wonderful life together.
Mitzi was blessed with motherhood and her sons were blessed with a most glorious mother. She devoted every day to the care and nurturing of her family.
When her sons were grown, Mitzi stood by Tom's side as they opened a new chapter in their lives ..the founding of Studio TEN.
In 1987, after Studio TEN had achieved modest success, sadness gripped the family when Tom passed away. After losing her lifelong companion, Mitzi found the strength
to assume the reins as President of Studio TEN, Inc. and lead their company to the place of distinction that it enjoys today.
Mitzi's sense of humor lit up the office. She had something kind and inspiring to share everyday. She truly loved her customers and, believe me, they loved her too.
On April 26, 2007 after 20 years as our "Chief", Mitzi rejoined Tom and surely saw his pleasure.
We celebrate her diligence and selfless dedication to the success of Studio TEN. We endeavor to keep her ideals alive today.
